Workshop Description

Change is a natural part of life. The most difficult changes we face are those we haven’t chosen for ourselves. Sometimes
the most recent change triggers memories from the past, causing feelings to intensify. Learn to identify the source of your feelings, the parts of your life you have already healed, and how to draw strength from your past to build a strong foundation for your future.

Course Objectives:

  1. Understand the benefits of journaling and sketching together as a tool for transition
  2. Identify the source of your feelings and the parts of your past that have not yet healed
  3. Draw strength from your past to become more resilient in the future
  4. Learn how to use journaling tools to stay focused on the present

 

The SketchaJournal Technique

Journaling helps us to pin down and organize our
scattered thoughts and absorb information more effectively. SketchaJournal workshops take that a step further by using images
and words together to engage and balance the left (logical, analytical, detail oriented) and right (emotional, creative, big picture) sides of our brain. This helps us to connect to our emotions on a deeper level and think more creatively.
